“Once told a tale in history, truth or lie, all doctored to suit the present. Some others lived like the Vilitsiz when the world, Kòfẹ́ṣù, was created by Orun, and angels were formed. Favored by Orun, some prospered, while some others rebelled- after which Orun cursed and banished them to eternal damnation. The Hydraguna fell and so did the Gygyn breed; to hearken and bow to the voice of the Vilitsiz.”

Origin

When the Wulfhunters of Edha migrated from Ibzaba to the middle point, they settled at the Wasteland. After the first battle of men and the beasts, the Ghuhns of Talua were banished from atop the rock to the Wasteland to serve the King of Edha province. The Wasteland became the primary place of recruitment for the Roncs, the Gorge, and location of the bell.

Danilov, the leader of the Ghuhns, was the first commander upon the rock before Estagus I. After the fall of the Fem-Gygyn, many men perished with Danilov. Estagus I mounted the rock and took power over the other tribes, banishing the Ghuhns from atop the rock to settle in the Wasteland.

Mystery

The Roncs and Pygyn beast on Atlansalar’s command, descended upon the Wasteland and sunk it into a Gorge; how the Ghuhns of Talua fled and found paradise on the other side of the busy mountain.

You know, after thorough introspection about the dynamics of our real world, I arrived at a clear understanding that we, humans, are characters who must struggle for our destiny and identity. I will take you deeper into the inspirations that shaped the world of Kòfẹ́ṣù, its characters, and the essence of this story.

The World, Kòfẹ́ṣù

Kòfẹ́ṣù was born from dreams, memories, and what-ifs. Kòfẹ́ṣù did not appear all at once, it took shape piece by piece, years- up to nine, with the creation of a map that brightened the path when the story got stuck in the dark.

It started with a feeling rather than a place- Kofesu was initially a crysong, a dirge where memories were buried in the sand like the dead, like a seed that wouldn’t grow for the harvester to harvest. I asked myself three questions:

1. Are memories a blessing or a curse?

2. What is fantasy without a Kingdom?

3. What would a kingdom look like if its greatest gift was also its greatest curse?

Those questions became the foundation of my worldbuilding.

• From there, I began to document my experiences, drawing inspiration from my natural surroundings, and the deeds around me. This helped my world look more real.

• I drew inspiration for epic landscapes from vast deserts to lofty mountains.

• The idea that music carries great power like love, and it always leaves a mark.

• I created cultures defined by skills and talents, with a common understanding. The result is a world shaped by conflict and wonder, in a setting where even the quietest places hide stories begging to be told.

The Characters

To be honest, in the creation of the characters, they simply appeared to me; by way of my pen, by necessity- that they had to appear, and by my conscious creation. Wherein, every character has a purpose for his existence. That a hero can eventually become a villain if his destiny takes the course, and that the villain may be acting upon his emotion; that he too has a reason, and should be understood.

Themes That Shaped Everything

A few themes guided me throughout the creation of the story:

Good Vs Evil: That Evil is real, but Good is easier. And that Good will always win.

Destiny & Identity: How it takes struggle for ordinary people to overcome at the point of greatness. Destiny and Identity are fought for.

Power & Sacrifice: Nothing is free, not even gifts and talents.

Belonging: The fight to find a place in a fractured world.

Hope: Quiet, fragile, but stubborn.

These thoughts gave the characters breath and Kòfẹ́ṣù, its pulse.

Why I’m Sharing This?

As I continue preparing for Kòfẹ́ṣù’s book release, I want to take you deeper into my creation process, into the places where this story truly began.

720 AFOK, it was discovered at the tail of the busy mountains- Elix, the rock of age. Eronocus and Atlansalar, with the Oatlancers gathered to deliberate on their discovery (in silent speech).

“If it can bring life to death, then it can take death from life and make life eternal.”, Vasiyisha began.

“You mean immortality, don’t you?”, Ohigamy asked, even more scared than curious.

“Yes, life forever”, Vasiyisha affirmed. “I have read about the rock powder in the scrolls”.

“Then it’s true, Kofesu is the source”, Saralana continued.

“If Elix can be crushed into powder, our kind could survive”, Ohigamy said.

“We should hurry and send news to Gorgon at once”, Saralana proposed.

“Not just yet Saralana, we can’t bring the Rufus shade upon this sphere while the all-seeing eye of Orun is fixed on the busy mountain?”, Vasiyisha inferred.

“We can’t be too sure of Elix, we don’t know what it will do. We can’t tell, it must be tested first- on something other than our kind”, Ohigamy added.

“It is powder, what’s could go wrong? Death? Our kind is at the brink of extinction and we have come all this way far to save it. We have explored and experienced many great deals, is it now that we would fear for our deaths? I’ll go first”, Saralana insisted.

“We don’t have enough to save Gorgon yet. We have to find the source”, Ohigamy added.

“Enough!”, Eronocus’ deep voice echoed in silent speech.

Origin Story

“Before spheres were named, Orun’s eye was upon the void, and the moment his eye opened, light came over the spheres — no more darkness. Like a body, the eyes would not function alone without the other parts; and Orun created angels in his image, and they dwelled in these spheres.”

Orun

Orun- whose dwelling is the Sun-Haven, took the form of an all-seeing eye, and created angels and spheres; Kòfẹ́ṣù and the ordinary-people that dwelled therein, the Inners of Underneath Down-Below, and the Vilitsiz of Gorgon, all fashioned in its form.

Ordinary-People & Kòfẹ́ṣù

Orun formed angels of mortal capacity to reign upon the sphere of Kòfẹ́ṣù. Blessed with resources and population, Kòfẹ́ṣù was the playing field of Orun itself.

Inners of Underneath Down-Below

Using harmony and themes, Orun forged these angels, the Inners. And they dwelled underneath down-below, from whence they serenade the Sun-Haven and soothe the Beasts in the abyss. The Inners gave balance to Orun’s grand creation- using music as a weapon.

Vilitsiz of Gorgon

Of Orun’s creations, the Vilitsiz were dearest and gifted. However, their kind would be pushed to the brink of extinction as Powder, the major source of their survival would diminish in Gorgon, to be found in the most improbable place imaginable, Kòfẹ́ṣù.

Beasts in the Abyss

Upon creation, Orun instructed all the angels to bow at the feet of the most favored, Vilitsiz. And they all did, except for the rebel angels, whence Orun cursed and casted them; the Hydraguna into the Wroth, and the Pygyn into the Abyss.

Spheres, Angels, Gifts & Needs.

Ordinary-people, Kòfẹ́ṣù.

Gifts: Population, Black power, Natural Resource and Elix/ Powder.

Need: One King.

Vilitsiz, Gorgon.

Gifts: Metaphysical knowledge, Long-Age, Shapeshifting, Silent-Speech.

Race/Origin: Ghuhn
Role in the Story: Harbinger of hope to the ordinary people, and founder of Birma- the second capital city of Kòfẹ́ṣù.
Strengths: Black power
Flaw: Aloneness, if Ake had many more like him, the world Kòfẹ́ṣù would be a better place.

City Spotlight: Edha Province

The first capital city of Kòfẹ́ṣù, situated upon the rock. Wulfhunters, fiercer than the ordinary men, with exceptional skills in warfare and predatory affairs.

Origin: Having conquered the Fem-Gygyn in the battle between men and the beasts (399 AFOK), Estagus the first- took the stand and led the Wulfhunters upon the rock where they raised the first city state of Kòfẹ́ṣù.

Tsar Estagus was 53 when he took control upon rock. The young King appointed able hands that dug deep into the soil at Moremi- till they reached water, creating channels across the province, and the other townships.

Mystery : The Wulfhunters originated from Ibzaba but migrated to the Wasteland after the destruction of Ibzaba by the Gygyn and Fem-Gygyn breeds.

Scenario/ Teaser:

Lipsing Technique

Having failed to master the lipsing technique, and by order of the King upon the rock- Tsar Krili (850 AFOK), Atlansalar in shame, forbade music, hymns, and harmony- an offense punishable by death; hanging from the rocks as a public spectacle.

Lore Drop

“In the creation of spheres, Orun shared his talents among his favorite angels; the King of Men, the Inners, and the Vilitsiz. The King of Men dwelled over Kofesu, blessed in population and natural resource, it was the playing fields of Orun himself. The Inners, angels or demons, only spoken of on a number of occasions, usually whispered- that they dwelled underneath the earth, like the Hydraguna.”
